VANTYRIAa studio of worlds

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This policy covers all apps made by Vantyria (the trading name of Lifelight Studios), including NeoNest and Spectrum, and any future apps we release — unless an app ships with its own policy, in which case that one applies instead.

The short version

We don't collect your data. Any of it. Our apps have no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no hidden network calls. Everything you put into an app stays on your device, full stop.

Who we are

Vantyria is a one-person app studio based in the UK, run by a real human who reads every email. You can reach us at [email protected], or find us at vantyria.com.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no server on our end to send anything to. Our apps are built offline-first — Spectrum, for example, ships with the internet permission deliberately removed, so it couldn't phone home even if it wanted to.

Specifically, we do not:

What stays on your device

Anything you enter — whelping records in NeoNest, routines, board phrases, or photos you choose in Spectrum — is stored in local on-device storage only. Text-to-speech happens on the device itself; nothing you type is sent anywhere to be spoken.

Spectrum can generate a carer handover PDF. That PDF is created entirely on your device, and it only leaves your device if you choose to share it — for example by email or message. Where it goes from there is in your hands, just like any file you share.

Children's privacy

Spectrum is designed to be used by children, together with their parents and carers — so we want to be especially clear here.

We collect nothing from anyone, and that includes children. No names, no ages, no photos, no usage data, no identifiers. A child can use Spectrum every day and not a single byte about them will ever reach us or anyone else. Everything stays on the family's own device, where it belongs.

Payments

Our apps' optional subscriptions (where offered) are handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store — we never see or store your card details. If how an app handles data ever changes, we'll update this policy before the change ships, not after.

Deleting your data

Because everything lives only on your device, deleting it is simple: uninstall the app, and everything it stored goes with it. There's nothing held anywhere else, so there's nothing left behind and nothing for us to delete on our side.

Your rights under UK GDPR

UK law gives you rights over your personal data — to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and take it elsewhere.

Honest answer: because we don't collect or hold any personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by design. There's nothing for us to hand over, correct, or erase — your data never left your device. If you ever have a question or concern, email us and we'll reply personally. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how our apps handle data, we'll update this policy first and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly in the relevant app or its store listing.
